Established in 2017, Cat O’ Nine was created with one big objective; to create avant-garde, small batch bespoke flairs that stand outside of the lines of fast fashion. Owner & Designer, Julie McKinney, during the emerging trend of wearing athleisure-wear as everyday clothing, noticed right away that women were surrendering fashion for comfort.  She found herself desirous of that same level of comfort yet refused to give up her unique fashion style and love of couture.  Cat O’ Nine is all about the unique and innovative Signature Highwaist design, that’s what sets our bells apart from the rest! 

Heavily influenced by top designers, as well as vintage rock and roll fashion, Designer Julie McKinney is predominantly self-taught having spend her formative years deconstructing clothing in order to obtain her own unique designs and fit. This gives Cat O’ Nine its innovative style that cannot be boxed into any specific genre. “Bellbottoms are rich with this beauty and physical movement that transcend labels” Julie says, “It’s all about how you style anything”
